Despite the fact that the majority of students of the vocational technical school are from the Kurzeme region, students were interested in internship possibilities at the company.

 

The new academic year in the autumn may commence with “Moduls Engineering” as a place of internship for the youngsters of Kurzeme.

 

Meeting with the students was followed by a conversation with the representatives of the school (Ms Antra Gārbena, Deputy Director for Practical Learning- and Working Environment Based Training, Ms Evita Roģe, Head of the Lifelong Learning and Career Education Centre, and Ms Rita Zingberga, Career Consultant) regarding cooperation in the future. We had an opportunity to visit the classrooms, special up-to-date equipped rooms for acquiring skills of engineering communication technicians, mechanical engineering, metal processing master and other professions. We really had a positive insight into the learning process, during which the youngsters are prepared for practical work.
